Welcome to Grade 2A Super Stars and the 2019-2020 school year! I look forward to partnering with each family for a positive learning experience.
My name is Mrs. Nicole Martin and I have been teaching for 11 years, all of which have been in 2nd grade at St. Mary Magdalen School. I received a Bachelor of Education in English-Elementary Education from Western Washington University in 2007. In 2011, I returned to school to pursue a degree in Literacy for Special Needs and received a Master of Education from Seattle University in 2014. My formal education helped me understand how to be a teacher and I am blessed to learn each year to better serve my students and families through professional development workshops and courses.
My husband, Joe, and I live in Everett with our three children (Dominic, 6 yrs, Grace, 5 yrs, and Charlie, 1.5 yrs). We enjoy camping, hiking, reading books, and creating art projects! Our kids attend SMM and enjoy playing CYO Soccer each Fall.
I am excited to greet the students and welcome you all!
