Dear 2A Families,

You are all amazing!  That is what comes to mind each day as I look through Google Classroom and spend time looking through the work your student is doing each day.  Thank you for your continued efforts to ensure your child continues to learn during this unique time.  You are doing amazing work!

Important Updates:

Week 3 Remote Learning Survey:  Thank you for your feedback from the survey/question.  If you have not had a chance to respond and would like to, here is the link to the survey:

Zoom Meetings:  I am planning on two Zoom meetings this week.  The information is below.  I am working through some technical difficulties so I hope that these will be more accessible in the near future.  See the email from Mrs. Martin for more information on joining us for our Zoom meetings this week!

I really enjoy these meetings with the students.  It is great to connect with them and have the students interact with each other.

Holy Week:  With direction from the Archdiocese of Seattle, we have scaled back on classwork during Holy Week, specifically next Friday.  The math lessons will be review of material we have covered previously during Trimester 2.  Our hope is that students can spend valuable time with their families and reflect on their relationship with Jesus during this time.

Spring Break:  We will still be observing Spring Break, April 13th-17th.  We will resume remote learning on Monday, April 20th.  I hope you can enjoy time together as a family and relax away from schoolwork.

Math:  Math pages this week are linked to each checklist rather than in the packet.  You will need to print the page off for your child or scribe the problems on a piece of paper.  Please remember to submit a photo of the assignment in Google Classroom and then hit “Turn In.”

Have an enjoyable weekend!

Blessings,

Mrs. Nicole Martin

I have a B.S. in Business with an emphasis in Human Resources from Central Washington University and have spent my 23 years working in this field, traveling all over the USA and Canada as an HR Director, as well as a corporate trainer. My husband Mike and I have two kids, our son is in college and our daughter is a Junior at AMHS. In my off time I enjoy running, cycling, hiking, anything outdoorsy really.
