Dear 2A Families,
I hope all of you terrific moms had a great Mother’s Day! 😊 That sunshine was fantastic and I hope you enjoyed some fresh air while social distancing.
This week is exciting as we wrap it up on Friday with a fun Field Day virtual experience in place of the Primary Track Meet. All of the PE assignments this week will also be track meet-related. Friday also kicks off SMM Spring Spirit Week! A newsletter/constant contact will be sent out shortly with the details. Stay tuned!
Zoom meetings this week are going to be a little bit different. There will be one meeting for each reading group that has Mrs. Martin for their reading teacher. I sent out meeting invite links for those just a little bit ago. The other Zoom meeting will be Friday, 5/15 at 11:30 am for a whole class Fun Friday Field Day! Stay tuned for more information coming soon. The link will post in Google Classroom at 11:00 AM and I will send it out Thursday evening, too.
We have moved the spelling test to Thursday so that Friday can be a fun day!
